Farsot - "Insects"
"Insects" is less focussed on pure aggression and catchiness, but more on emotional depth in all its facets – and in all its gravity, for at the centre of the album is man, the unknown creature, his abysses, and the Kafkaesque complexity of inter-human action. Once more, this album shows Farsot's way out of the confines of generic metaphors, as it plays with natural loathing and repulsion as much as with the fascination that humans feel when confronted with the crawling, creeping, wriggling, and coiling of lesser creatures, worms, beetles, and insects.
