It is with delight that I can welcome a band from a yet unrepresented continent to the Naturmacht family: Krummholz from East Africa.

“Krummholz” is the international name for the crippled trees living in the higher mountain areas and are also growing in the area where the band comes from. The music is best described as melodic atmospheric black metal and as the name suggests, it is deeply rooted and connected to nature.

The band released their debut EP called “Roots in Despair” digitally not long ago and we will realise this gem in a limited amount coming as CDr in a 4-Panel DigiPak very soon.
