The song is inspired by the story of Daniele Nardi and Tom Ballard who died in February 2019 on Nanga Parbat, Himalaya, trying to open a new way through the legendary Mummery Spur, more than one hundred years later the first and only one attempt made by Albert Frederick Mummery who lost his life during this trial in 1895. “I am not going to Nanga Parbat but to the Mummery Spur” (Daniele Nardi, 9th January 2019)
