“Wivre I” is the debut album of same named French one-man-project.
The two main topics are Nature, it’s beauty and the peace provided by it but also it’s harshness and lack of forgiveness and epic medieval fantasy tales.
Wivre was born from the will to write black metal and the endless source of medieval influence you can find in Europe and France, which led to the mix of the two into what became Epic Medieval Black Metal.
The projects name translates to “serpent” in old french which will eventually become “Vouivre” or “Guivre” for the serpentine creature/Wyvern/Dragon.
